ROOM DESCRIPTION

The spacious private rooms have been designed to give every guest a share of the glorious views. Rest peacefully in handcrafted queen size beds and wake to the call of the whip birds who have made their home in the enveloping garden paradise.

Huge windows and sliding doors open to wide verandahs, so that the fresh sights, sounds and scents of the gardens enhance the serenity within.

All rooms are spacious and have ensuite bathrooms. All bathrooms have heaters and exhaust fans, a full-length mirror, half-length mirror and a magnifying moveable shaving/makeup mirror.

All rooms have lockable internal and external doors, both from inside the house and from the external verandah entrance. Floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows and sliding glass doors expose mountain and coastal views, with one room with forest views. Wardrobes are full length with double sliding doors. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer, refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities
and thermostat controlled A/C is provided.

The rooms have been painted with Asthma Foundation approved paint in shades of blue, and the floors sealed with natural oil products. The power points at the bed heads turn off automatically after the light is switched off, to give an energy-free zone for a restful sleep.

Rooms are decorated with natural fibre curtains, bed covers and cushions. The curtain tie-backs, throws and cushions are embroidered with the individual Australian wildflower motif for each room. Bed heads, side tables and dressers are hand crafted from local River She Oak. The queen-size beds have Enviro foam mattresses and pure cotton sheets. Above the dressers are hand-made timber mirrors. Also in the rooms are remote-control 26" ( 68cm) LCD TV's / DIGITAL RECEIVER / DVD / CD / radio / cassette and talking alarm clock, reading and bedside table lights, ceiling fan with light, and a smoke detector. There are two armchairs, sofa and a table, fresh flowers, delightful European chocolates and port. Two large bath towels, hand towels and face washers plus bath mat, liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and gel are provided. Light-weight cotton, medium-weight and pure wool winter-weight blankets are provided as well as extra pillows and towels.
